Philip Barton

Philip Barton, principal owner of Kinswater Construction Inc., is a licensed Carpenter and Project Manager with over 36 years of experience in the building industry.This experience includes work in high rise commercial finishing, timber framing, furniture design, cabinetmaking, to every aspect of residential building and renovation.

A former Instructor in the renovation program at George Brown College and Director of Operations with a custom homebuilding company, Philip has overseen residential renovation projects ranging in value from $50,000 to over $3,500,000.

An avid cyclist and former Scuba Diving Instructor, Philip enjoys the challenges of renovating. He believes that, “The key to the success of any project is the development of a partnership based on careful planning and strong communication with clients.”

Graydon Hall

Graydon Hall, Project Manager and Lead Carpenter at Kinswater. His problem solving abilities, the setting of goals, and the management of site conditions are highly valued. His background, working with several builders on a multitude of projects, includes small and large residential renovations, restaurants and bars, and new builds.

A graduate of the University of Guelph, Graydon enriched his interest in modern design and architecture by furthering his education in carpentry at George Brown College.

Graydon enjoys the challenge of complicated renovations. He gets great satisfaction out of the creative problem solving necessary to properly carry out a tough project efficiently, and providing the client with a beautiful space in the end.

Nick Sevier

Nick Sevier, Site Supervisor and Carpenter at Kinswater, has 12 years of experience working in renovation and construction in Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, and Australia. His organized project planning approach paired with his meticulous craftsmanship make Nick an invaluable asset to have on any job site.

He values being with a project from start to finish to oversee every step involved in making a client’s vision come to life. Whatever the challenge may be, Nick looks forward to finding creative solutions to make it all happen.

A devoted music fan and proud pug owner, Nick likes to take the time to perfect fine detail work that most would overlook.

Tony Nano

Tony Nano, Site Supervisor and Carpenter at Kinswater, has spent 25 years working in construction. Managing a range of projects in the commercial, residential and hospitality industries in Toronto, he knows that transparent communication and strong relationships with clients is what drives a project towards the finish line.

A graduate of George Brown College’s Renovation Program, Tony enjoys working on intricate and detailed trim work and welcomes the challenges of managing a site and coordinating trades to run a smooth operation.

Marisa Cho

Marisa Cho, Apprentice Carpenter at Kinswater, loves being a part of renovations that make houses into homes. Her desire to understand and master the processes that lead to quality are what drive her enthusiasm on every project. Under the mentorship of the Kinswater team, she enjoys participating in many aspects of renovations such as demolition, framing, finishes and project management.

Marisa is a graduate of Western University, but it was at George Brown College where learning carpentry and renovation furthered her passion for residential construction.

Marisa is also a CrossFit coach and a member of Women on Site, a community that aims to welcome more women and underrepresented people into trades, construction, manufacturing, and STEM industries.
